Drug Lies

I become so afraid that I can’t take a single step
Whatever I do storm won’t stop
Plenty of soppy joys
Plenty of soggy lies
I become so afraid that I can’t stay
I search for an excuse again to say
Sinking deeply far away
I could believe that everything is okay
I could believe it as long as I can today
In front of those tears
In front of those hills
I stick a smile on my stingy face
And hide a drug in my “shandy” suitcase
Honesty has run out long ago
I wonder if it did really go
To the night of emptiness?
To the sea of loneliness?
I can see obviously its weakness.

"Do I quarrel with my parents?!"

Do I quarrel with mum and dad?

This question makes me feel sad.

How dare I be this reckless!

With my loving parents, that's ruthless!

What our quarrel will be about?

Why shall we scream and shout?

When we believe that discussion is the solution

And it's the best way to make a real evolution

How can I quarrel with a great loving mother?

Or with a very understanding father?

They are my real best friend

They are my peaceful land

So why should I quarrel with them? (*2)

When they only deserve being grateful to them

But sometimes a misunderstanding might happen

And the respect and love between us won't be shaken

I owe my parents a bunch of flowers

And begging them for their forgiveness for hours

So talk to your mum and dad

Don't lose your temper by getting mad

And consider them as a friend

A friend you should never offend.

I'm sorry mum

I'm sorry mum, I was easily influenced
I don't know how I was convinced
I shouted and screamed at you
but I didn't want, never ever to hurt you
I was totally out of my mind
so thanks mum for being so kind
because even if I used to take drugs
you still receive me with your warm hugs
I'm sorry mum I wasn't mature
I couldn't help it, I couldn't stand its lure
I'm sorry because I didn't listen to your advice
so that, I was trapped like mice
I was a victim of bad friends
I wasn't really in the right hands
even them were a victim
they were a victim of the victim's victim
I thought drug brings happiness
but it brings nothing but a total sickness
It made me rude and bad
and a short lack of it blows my head
I'm sorry mum, I'm deadly sorry
your kid is back now so don't worry
I'll be with you forever
'n I won't go through this disaster ever.

I was a normal teenager, with normal ambitions
I didn’t ask for more, I had great life visions
Then, some day, they destroyed my life
Even worse than killing me with a knife.
They tortured me slowly
And I was blind, absolutey…
Drugs took control
And I couldn’t help but fall
Everyday, I wonder it’s the last
But hopefully, I woke up fast
I realized that I should get out of that dust
I knew that mould be the price I had to pay…
To regain hope to live until a brighter day…

Hallelujah!!!!!

Thomas came closer.
“Take this,” he said to me.
“It makes you see what you want to see
Be what you want to be
I’m not asking you to say words like YES or NO
I’m inviting you to a beautiful place to go.”

I was a poor man with no destination
Searching hopelessly for salvation
I smoked the cigarette
And dreams came alive that night
I was hypnotized by a strange delight
I wasn’t aware of the mess I put myself in
After that night things just don’t seem the same
Help! There’s a hole in my brain
I am acting funny and I don’t know why
I lost myself far away in the sky
Help me! Help me!

And then one day I slept into unconsciousness
An angel with silver wings gave me a kiss
“R’Kid! Wake up!”
“R’Kid! Listen to me!”
I cannot see clearly
Is it my mother who is coming nearly?
It’s my mother, yes! My mother and my brother.
“Ten doctors couldn’t help your head,” they said
“You’d better quit son before you’re dead
Son, I understand the fascination but you
Must change your situation.”

Oh! I wish I wish I wish…
That we could simply sit all of us like a happy family
In that room again
Playing, joking and wearing daddy’s hat.
I’d give all I have if life could be like that
How many years have passed and gone
I’ve lost many times and few times I’ve won
O Lord, I’ve seen a lot of people
Who thought they were cool
But then it turned out that they were all fool
I hope for you people, Lord can hear what I say
So you’ll have your chance to quit some day.
Like I did.
Yours, R’Kid.

JUST ONE WISH !

JUST ONE WISH!

I am the last voice of dignity
I am just the conscience of humanity
Why are poor people eliminated from society?
Wake up nation and welcome in reality
Millions are suffering and feeling cold
While none forgets to give pets a hold
Those innocent souls are waiting for a beam
Just a new sunshine covering a deep scream
It’s their wish – don’t they have the right to dream?
Eyes learnt to see nothing but the dark of night
So why keep searching for the ray of light?
It’s easy to say never give up and hold on tight
’cause you’re not the one who tried the painful bite
They are out of soul; you can notice that at first sight

They tried so hard not to show
Even when they were uncovered under the snow
Feeling the cold dominating their weak bodies
But won’t let you know
Till the day when their hearts will blow
When they won’t feel like a plastic bag
Drifted through the wind and never nag
That day seems to be far away
Just when the world learns how to say
We’re all equal and that’s how we’re gonna stay
That’s when you’ll see a smile of glory
Translating you the happy end of the story…

What’s the point of living
If you didn’t have someone by your side?
What’s the point of trying
If you’d still be terrified?
What’s the point of hoping
If hope didn’t stop you from losing your mind?
What’s the point of trusting
If everybody around you lied?
What’s the point of writing
If indifference would be all that you find
Had you been more careful
You would’ve seen how pride
Has made of you a big blind!
Had you been more grateful
You wouldn’t have denied
All the blessing God has to provide
If you want to be useful
Just swallow your pride
You’ll see how life would be such a nice ride
